Characters I meet in a Winter Wonderland

Many of us grew up with them......yet someof us never got the chance to meet them.
What make them special is that THEY WERE OUR ENTERTAINMENT for WEEKENDS...:P
I remember we were glueing to the square box for hours and hours just wayching them and their antics. That's where we learn language and what it means to be good friends.

I do not know if there are young adults that still remember Road Runner(beep!...beep!) and the ever sweet Tweety(I tot I saw a puudd...dy cat!).
I know I do.

My first character was............(drumroll)............
MICKEY & MINNIE!!
Then.............(drumroll).........
Donald Duck
Chip & Dale
Goofy
and.....Pluto

Dinner at Italienniesse

A few of us make a trip to The Gardens, Midvalley for a dinner gathering at Italienniesse. It seems like such a long time since we meet up again....since we last sat in the same exam hall, that's it!!We drank in the atmosphere of the good food under the low warm lighting.Creates a mood of pleasure and romance...

As for food, we had a blast ordering and sharing. As they said, "Sharing is CERTAINLY Caring"..As we all know, the size of serving is not our normal size. A small can be said meal for two.Amid the long waiting for everyone to arrive, it was a worth wait.

Even though yeah....we did complained and grumbled abit lah....can't help it ok....some people only reaching at 8.30pm...where our appointed time is 7pm....blah...blah...blah

Below are the photos to remember by for all of us......

Getting 'high' with Sham is part of the activities of the night...:P

Mel and Sham having a toast of virgin olive oil and soy sauce.Bottom's up guys!!

Its a dare for Mel....muahahah

Last but not least, the main organisers of the night....miss you guys alot!muackss..XX

We are what make memories wonderful and memorable...

Trip to Versaille

It was all a enjoyable but tired trip.I was like walking my soles off in the HUGE garden. The King Louis XIV palace was just pure fantastic. All the things and bed chambers are kept as the original.Took many pictures....and then bad luck fall.Of all times for my camera to fail me,it has to be the trip to Versaille....IT RAN OUT OF BATTERY!!cursing all the way up in the visit, luckily i brought along my camera phone. If not,I could just burst into tears. All those nice view and my camera die on me.

The garden is so well kept which is HUGE....I think you need few days to walk it all.Thsy even have musical fountains.Just manage to do 1 side of the garden. My feet was absolutely calling for help by the time it is dark.Hope to go back there again to finish the tour.....didn't get the chance to visit Marie Antoinette house quarters.Everywhere is long queue. Most visits close at 5.30-6.00pm.short visit hours plus long queue+waiting in the cold....not a good combination. Will make a date again in the next trip to Paris. The train ride is also so long....almost half alive by the time reached the apartment and my nice warm bed....MY POOR FEET!!

My eventful afternoon in the Permanente Delegation de Malaisie abode

It first started with a WOW.....beautiful and cosy home. The Malaysian Government must have spent a fortune to upkeep the home. The whole deco was classy and sophisticated.Fit for an ambassador.

Good impression of the home...BUT certainly not the people staying there. The hostess is ACTUALLY clueless on how to serve guest ambassadors. And this is after 1 year serving as hostess of the house.I was actually quite disappointed, I expected something more. She don't even know where her things are in the house.Everything was everywhere. This is the scene 2 hours before the distinguished guest are about to arrive.Cutlery boxes are strewn on the floor. The hostess can be all dressed up and perfumed....and next you will find her at the kitchen frying vegetables by the stove...OMG,i was telling myself, can this really be the Datin, hostess of the house..haiz...

The maid is another liability. She can talk non-stop.....yak yak yak....loud and rough, she juz simply chuck the cutlery box in the cupboard. Then, she complains about everybody in the household. Its a wonder the master still want to keep her.i can still hear her voice drowning in my head after so long....haiz...

When the VIP guest arrived,we had another drama. The plates need to be warmed before serving. So, the waiter warmed the plates in the oven. But before that, somebody smart used the oven to bake and forgot to turn the temperaure down. So,dear readers, can you imagine, red hot plates ready to explode in the oven.To top it all,the permanent delegate started shouting at his wofe and whoever in the kitchen for the plates.Poor waiter have to right it all....

SUCH EMBARASSMENT FOR MALAYSIA....

Well, besides the drama,I had a good time at the dinner. It was an eye-opening event for me to see how people actually live in beautiful apartments....PAID IN FULL BY GOV

Busy piggy in Paris

Most weekends I am busy going for adventuring. The first week I went to Chateau de Versailles. For those whom don't know what this is, its the palace of the sun king,Louis XIV.The castle is so big, walk until kaki patah. But what I am really happy about is that the garden is the one of the most beautiful gardens I have ever seen. It is so well taken care off and the grounds are huge.I came back with sore legs. But I really enjoyed myself anyway....taking photos=P

Oh....by the way, there was this exhibition going on at the same time. The police and the firemen was at the same place trying to recruit people.Well,me and Amandine was swooning over those handsome man.....what can i say,They come in a package....hehe+p

Just imaginee nice young man with built and height....with added effects handsome face + bulging muscles....We were going WOW.Sorry girls,no pictures.I kept them All for myself=P

This is the Versaille castle

Its the half garden at the back....can't take all, garden is too huge

First day in Paris

I AM FINALLY IN GAY PAREE!!

Just as I touch down at Charles de Gaulle airport,I can already see a change in the environment and air.It is sooooooo much fresher here......

Well,as for the flight here.....it was quite tiring(seeing as this is my first time going long haul flight).Had quite an experience in Dubai airport....the passengers there just get a mat and simply goes to sleep everywhere in the terminal.Thought it will be a fastastic mall......but such disappoinment.Comparably between the 3 airports I have been this 2 days....I can proudly say:

KLIA IS THE BEST!!!MUAKSSSSS

My cousin,Catherine met me in the airport....so nice of her....TOUCHED!!I was to bunk with her for the night as Uncle Georges and Auntie Wan Hua is still at work.So could only meet them on Saturday. Then, its full unloaded on goods...hehe

Didn't do much as by d time I reach Paris,it was quite late.So i just unload a little and went for early dinner(hungry ok....it was so past my dinner time in Malaysia)BLEEKKK=P

Then, went to the Metro to get a pass....bus-ing n train-ing all the time the people here.Added a bit of grocery shopping for next morning breakfast(well....its this morning now as currently as I write this, its 7.38am here).Still haven get used to the time here....woke up at 5am with a 'grouchy' tummy..

Plans for this morning is to go to the Lourve museum. They are having an exhibition on the topic of my training here....sumthing to do with ethical perspective in fashion. So its work almost immediately.....haiz....thought can enjoy a little this weekend.I am suppose to get an interview with d people concerned to gather info.

So I better get ready....hopefully I can upload some photos in the next post...

Its weekend again...

So many things to do...so little time to finish.I have to finish 2 reports to pass up next few days...O.o Fortunately,I had done almost 3/4 of it.So I think not so bad for the meantime.

I was all alone in the morning yesterday. So sad...deprived of tender loving care...but I had a quiet time studying my subjects.Maybe its good to have a quiet moment to yourself sometimes...Peace and tranquility...haiz....

A new semester of work...and my favourite place

Its my third week of the semester...and work is starting to pile up again.More fun doing reports and studying for neverending test and exams. It is getting tougher by the semester, more in depth to the field of my future. It is not so bad studying it...its just the remembering part that's giving me the double need of PANADOL!!...O.o

MY ACHING HEAD!!!

I have the green light to do my industrial training in GAY PAREE...yoohoo...muakss!

The city of Love and Romance

It would both fun and educational for me to learn the tricks of the trade.I will be going to a research lab in one of the largest and famous hospital in Europe...Hôpital Pitié-Salpêtrière.For those who are still clueless, its the hospital where Princess Diana passed away.

Looks like a museum to me...but its really the Hôpital Pitié-Salpêtrière

Come to think of it...I am getting excited of going there.By October, its autumn...a nice time where the trees are all golden and red...a really beautiful sight..

I am now constructing my list of places that I could go...

1. Luxembourg Gardens-the lovely garden in front of the apartment....said to be equivalent of Hyde Park in London

2. Notre Dame Cathedral-Remember Quasimodo in The Hunchback of Notre Dame

3. Arc de Triomphe-made famous by World Cup...but it captures the ghost of Paris past(grave of the unknown soldier is under the arch)

4. Place du Terte, Montmarte- many portrait artists at work

5. Louvre Museum-Mona Lisa smile

6. Champs Elysées-most beautiful avenue in the world

7. Seine River-a romantic ride for twosomes..O..o

8. Rue Mouffetard-shopping paradise

9. Chateau de Versailles-home of the Sun King Louis XIV

10. Sacré Coeur -A church perched on top of the highest point in Paris..spectacular views of the whole city

11. Marché aux Puces de St-Ouen (Porte de Clignancourt)-Clignancourt Flea Market

12. And lastly, EIFFEL TOWER.....

Wedding Bells....

Me and Sue Ann....picture perfect to leave for Kulim

It was the most memorable weekend last week.It was 100% attendance by the whole clan.I also went for my very first church wedding...not bad.Singing hymms and being in a full mass. The church is a little quaint in the town of Kulim. It was tiring to travel back and forth in 1 day...
But we did it...Thanks, Edward!!Love ur GPS....VERY MUCH!!

Then, we adjourn to lunch ina multipurose hall....had a long aisle for the lovely couple. The food was not that good though. Can't compare with the food awaiting in Ipoh. After the luncheon,it is back again to Ipoh...2 hours away. The worst part, there are a few cars that lost their way on the way back...tempers ran high. Can't blame them...waking up at 5am to be ready for the journey.

In the night was buffet dinner at Menglembu.Took many pics..funny ones, blurry ones, picture perfect..(that have to wait fo the hired photographer,ok)...all the amateurs ate too many chicken feet...most are shaky...haha..:P

Angeline with little cute Keith Lee...ain't he cute?

The wedding luncheon in Ipoh was a blast. As I quote my brother..."Never tasted food dat good in months"...haha...poor fellow has been surviving on fried rice for the past few months..The best part...I get to see my nephew for the first time in 5 months...cute little Keith Lee...we girls totally swoon on him..O.o...

Can't wait to see him again...too bad he is staying in Singapore...haiz...:'(

Congrats to the lovely couple.....Rudy & June

May both you have a blessed and happy marriage!

WELCOME TO THE FAMILY....JUNE!
